Extraction
Extraction plan design
Mineral extraction methods are divided into two categories: open and underground methods.
In the open method, which is one of the surface mining methods and is preferably used for metal mines and mainly copper and iron, the extraction continues in a step-by-step manner and deep from the mineral stock which is an economic operation. In this method, enough is removed from the surface of the mine to access the mineral.
The design of this section is of special importance. With a proper and principled design, in addition to reducing the costs of mine tailings, it is possible to help maintain the safety of the extracted stairs.
On the other hand, the design of road slopes affects the depreciation of machinery and the safety of vehicles in the mine
